Welcome
I am a psychoanalytic psychotherapist working in private practice in Islington EC1. I see people who have never been to therapy before and people who are returning to therapy for their second or third time.
I trained at The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis and I hold a PhD in Psychoanalysis specialising in the work of Freud and Lacan.
Psychoanalysis, as developed by Freud, is a response to human suffering and psychic pain. If you are experiencing distress that is difficult to put into words or experiencing certain problems that seem to repeat in your relationships, work or family life, then you may find talking to a psychoanalyst can help.
I offer face to face appointments at my consulting rooms in Islington and have some availability for online sessions. I have a limited number of lower cost places for face to face sessions during the day. If you are interested in this option please put the request in your initial email.
Psychoanalysis can help with a range of problems including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Bereavement and loss
- Relationships and family life
- Sex and sexuality
- Difficulties at work
- Difficulties in moving forward in life, work and relationships
My practice is based in Islington in easy reach of Angel, Old Street, Barbican and Farringdon tube, the City of London, Clerkenwell, Shoreditch, Lincoln Inn Fields, Holborn and Bloomsbury.
